Tanzania’s cashew harvest is seasonal, and our export cycle aligns with the national calendar to ensure freshness, traceability, and compliance:

• Harvesting Season: October to January
• Auction/Bidding Period: Late October through March
• Export Window: November to April

Dairaan maintains strategic buying and logistical coordination throughout this window to ensure timely movement from farm to port. 🛒 Procurement Through National Auction System Tanzania uses a Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) to guarantee price transparency and protect farmer interests. Dairaan Tanzania procures RCN through official government-supervised auctions in key producing regions.

🔑 How It Works:

Aggregation: Smallholder farmers deliver RCN to Primary Cooperative Societies (PCSs). Storage: Nuts are stored in licensed warehouses under the Tanzania Warehouse Licensing Board (TWLB). Auctioning: Weekly auctions are conducted by the Cashew Board of Tanzania (CBT). Purchasing: Dairaan bids competitively to secure high-grade RCN lots. Logistics: After purchase confirmation, nuts are processed for export under strict quality supervision.
